I eat chocolate for my daughter!
There are so many things I do for my daughter. But, as an older mom (I was 34 when I finally got pregnant), I frequently forget that I need to take care of myself so that I am there and healthy for her for many years to come. My parents are fit and active, but they were in their 20s when I was born. I know that I need to keep fit and not just focus on the day-to-day, but it is so hard.
Eating Xocai chocolate is such an easy way to do a little something for my girl. It tastes good and I want to do it. And, when I do-- I try to remind myself why I am doing it. So, Xocai chocolate is my little chocolate reminder to watch what I eat, get my cholesterol down and really do that yoga and not just think about it.
I'm changing gradually. I have actually done some yoga. But, I must admit that adding chocolate to the “healthy lifestyle” as a first step has been a big help in making me want to take steps 2, 3, 4... And, the lift in energy and the reduction in inflammation makes all the rest of those steps much easier to take, as well.
